  • Follow signage to I-94 E. toward DETROIT
  • Travel approx. 15 miles to I-96 E./JEFFRIES FRWY. Merge onto I-96 and travel another 1.5 miles to exit 213B BRIDGE TO CANADA.
  • Travel 1 mile to the I-75 S./I-96 S. exit toward TOLEDO.
  • Travel 0.15 miles to Exit number 47B, BRIDGE TO CANADA/PORTER ST.
  • Turn left onto PORTER ST.
  • Turn right onto AMBASSADOR BRIDGE
  • In Canada, exit bridge plaza onto HURON CHURCH RD.
  • Travel 7 miles to WALKER RD. Turn left on WALKER RD.
  • Travel 0.75 miles to N. TALBOT RD. Turn right.
  • Tough Customs is on the left.

Total Distance 27.95 miles.


From Via Rail.

  • Turn left out of Parking lot onto WALKER RD.
  • Travel along WALKER RD.
  • Turn left onto NORTH TALBOT RD.
  • Tough Customs is on the left hand side of the road.

From Tunnel

  • Turn Left out of Tunnel Plaza onto PARK ST.
  • Turn left onto OUELLETE AVE.
  • Continue along OUELLETTE AVE. which will become DOUGALL AVE.
  • Stay in extreme right lane to HOWARD AVE. exit
  • Turn left on NORTH TALBOT RD.
  • Tough Customs is on the left hand side of the road.

From Windsor Airport

  • Turn right out of airport parking lot.
  • Travel along County Rd. 42.
  • Turn left onto WALKER RD.
  • Turn left onto NORTH TALBOT RD.
  • Tough Customs is on the left hand side of the road.

From the 401

  • Travel along 401 W.
  • Take exit 14 to PROVINCIAL RD.
  • Turn left onto WALKER RD.
  • Turn left onto NORTH TALBOT RD.
  • Tough Customs is on the left hand side.

Customs Information

1. How easy is it to get to Windsor?

In less than five minutes, the Ambassador Bridge or the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel can provide easy access to Windsor. Customs facilities at both the bridge and tunnel on the Canadian side have undergone extensive renovations.

2. What type of Identification is required?

To assist in entry, visitors must carry proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate or a valid/expired passport as well as government-issued photo I.D. such as a driver’s license.
